Work Package 1

Project Management and Coordination

This work package ensures seamless collaboration among partners and the efficient implementation of all project activities. It oversees progress, risk management, and timely communication with the European Commission.

Work Package 2

Lab-Scale Validation of Three Electrolysis Technologies

Diagnostic and monitoring tools will be validated at the laboratory scale on three electrolysis technologies: AEL, PEMEL, and SOEL.

Work Package 3 & 4

Hardware Development and Integration

Advanced hardware requirements will be defined, and prototypes will be developed and integrated at both laboratory and large scales.

Work Package 5 & 6

Algorithms

Physical and data-driven models will be developed to simulate and predict stack- and cell-level degradation KPIs under various operational scenarios. These algorithms will be validated at small and large scales.

Work Package 7 & 8

Software Integration

A prototypal Electrolyzer Management System (EMS) will be developed to integrate communication between algorithms and hardware outputs.

Work Package 9

Large-Scale Validation

This work package will demonstrate the developed hardware solutions, including EIS and Raman technologies, on a large-scale AEL stack. The EMS will also be validated at scale using physical and virtual sensors for real-time monitoring.

Work Package 10 & 11

Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation

A comprehensive strategy will be implemented to maximize the project’s visibility, engage key stakeholders, and ensure long-term impact. The project will communicate its societal benefits, support knowledge transfer, and establish pathways for the exploitation and protection of the project’s key results.
